Phonics: We are beginning to learn about word families and talking about words in the -at family.
Reading: We are looking at the book "Leonardo the Terrible Monster" by Mo Willems. The students are practicing visualizing the illustrations in a story, retelling the story, and talking about the character and how he can be described.
Writing: We are beginning to learn about How-To writing and what that means. The students are practicing telling someone how-to brush their teeth in steps.
Science: We are learning about force and motion. The students are learning how to explain and show force and motion through various activities. We even "rode a rollercoaster" to show motion.
Math: We are learning about how to count objects up to 20 in rectangular arrays.
